Severance, CO – The Severance Middle School wrestling squad made a powerful statement at the 2025 NCAC MS League Tournament, racking up multiple podium finishes and dominant performances. Jasper Fredrickson (80 lbs, 11-1) stormed through the competition, securing a tech fall in the semifinals before pinning Thomas Smack of Walt Clark Middle School in the finals at 4:15. His offensive attacks were relentless, and he controlled every match with precision.
Brayden Lucier (95 lbs, 12-0) remained perfect on the season, making quick work of his opponents and pinning Hunter Divine in just 1:53 to capture the title. His explosive style and quick finishes made him one of the most dominant wrestlers in the tournament.
Corbyn Dare (120 lbs, 11-1) displayed offensive dominance, winning by technical fall in the semis and a lightning-quick pin in the finals to seal his championship. Dare's ability to dictate the pace of his matches allowed him to overwhelm his opponents from start to finish.
Declan Collins (130 lbs, 7-0) continued his undefeated run, securing the top spot with two commanding pins. His confidence and ability to execute under pressure were key factors in his success.
Success McDonough (145 lbs, 11-1) lived up to his name, breezing through his bracket and pinning Billy Wiltz of Bill Reed Middle School in the finals at 2:35. His relentless energy and aggressive mat style made him a standout throughout the tournament.

Severance also brought home six second-place finishes, with multiple wrestlers making deep tournament runs. William Hirsch (75 lbs), Colin Stack (135 lbs), and Malia Bornhoft (140 lbs) each put together impressive performances to reach their respective championship matches.
Meanwhile, Keegan Kahookele (155 lbs) and James Salinas (200 lbs) showcased incredible determination, battling through tough brackets and demonstrating the kind of perseverance that will serve them well in future competitions.
