THE SCHEDULES ARE OUT, AND THEY'RE STACKED!

As the Severance High School wrestling program gears up for the 2024-25 season, both the boys’ and girls’ teams are set for an action-packed schedule filled with high-stakes competitions that will push these athletes to the limit.

For the boys’ team, key events this season include the Windsor Duals on January 10th, a local rivalry that always brings intensity and crowd energy. The team will also travel to Herriman, Utah, to compete in the prestigious Rockwell Rumble on January 17-18, one of the toughest tournaments in the nation, setting the stage for top competition throughout the year. The boys will continue their challenging slate with the Top of the Rockies Tournament on January 26-27, another marquee event that will help the wrestlers sharpen their skills in preparation for regionals and state.

Meanwhile, the girls’ team has its own exciting season ahead. They’ll kick off their year on December 9th with the Eaglecrest Girls Invite, followed by a dual at home against Roosevelt/Thornton on January 22. A standout event for the girls this year will be the NCCT Tournament on January 13-14, a chance for the team to compete against strong opposition and prepare for the Regional Tournament in early February.

Both teams will close out their seasons at the Ball Arena in Denver for the State Tournament from February 13-15, where Severance wrestlers will aim to bring home championship titles. Coach Dare and his athletes are ready for an incredible year of growth, hard work, and competitive success!

Stay tuned for updates as the season progresses and be sure to support the Severance Knights at their home and away events!
